Cranberry Foods - About Us

Our History

Cranberry Foods started trading on September 19th 2003, when Joint Managing Directors and majority shareholders Andrew Lewins and David Horn set up the company to buy the stock and assets of Brandon Poultry.

The successful progressive business which thrives today has its own unique identity for colleagues and customers alike, but the assets are traceable to a long bloodline of some very famous names in the history of the UK turkey industry.

The breeding, hatching and growing operations in Northern England are a lasting reminder of names like Moorland Foods, Twydale Turkeys, Broadacres and Butterball Swift. The Hollybank Factory and head office in Derbyshire was once the base of Brandon’s, and the farming operations in Herefordshire, Worcestershire and South Wales along with the retail packing plant at Abergavenny are a lasting legacy of Sun Valley Turkeys.

Cranberry Foods has successfully blended the best of these assets and cultures to become the second largest turkey producer in the UK, renowned for product quality, service and integrity.
